We
love to hear from our clients after their journey, receiving letters such as
the following is a highlight in our working day.

Dear Kapil
A whole week has flashed by since
we returned form India and I apologise for not writing sooner. We have been
busy catching up with family and friends who all wanted to know how our trip
went.
Thanks to you and Amanda and all your planning it went very
well!!
All the places chosen were very special and gave the four
of us some wonderful glimpses of life in India.
Our photos -
hundreds of them - have been developed and remind us of our travels. Please
tell Mitripal and Surinder that I will have copies made of the ones I
promised them as soon as I sort through the negatives.
Our guides
were very efficient and informative although two were very hard to
understand. All the hotels were comfortable and quite splendid especially
the beautiful Oberois. Samode Palace and Khimsar Fort were very atmospheric.
Your Mitripal and John Benny from Kerala are outstandingly good
drivers and looked after us all as though we were Royalty. We are forever
grateful to them and to Surinder too for his care.
We would have
liked more time to shop casually in the bazaars as the crowds and colours
and happy bargaining are all part of a novel experience in a different
country.
Best wishes to you and your family and to MP and
Surinder. And thank you once again for arranging our Indian Safari.
Kind regards

Dear Amanda:
We are back now scarcely a week and the visions of India are still very
fresh. Ruby Ann and I find ourselves constantly reliving the journey in our
daydreams not to mention our night-dreams. The trip was fabulous and we
really can't thank you enough for all the time you spent helping us plan our
wonderful itinerary that included so many highlights that really were being
drawn from two very different kinds of trips. Everything went off as planned
and we absolutely feel that what was delivered to us was very consistent
with what was represented.
Raj Kumar is a fine young man who did
an excellent job representing the company and putting us at ease upon our
arrival. The vouchers were exceptionally well done. In general your company
did an amazing job in handling the logistics and other arrangements
associated with our journey. We are still fascinated that custom itineraries
and independent travel can be handled so efficiently. We would not hesitate
to use Luxury Holidays Online (Trans India Tours) again for a subsequent
trip to India or perhaps Africa along the lines as we have previously
discussed. We also would (and have) recommended your organisations to anyone
interested in travelling in India.
Sincerely,
Warren and
Ruby Ann Snyder, USA
P.S. By the way, we rode camels all day at
the Pushkar Camel Fair (what a great way to see and experience the fair) and
we rode elephants to our hearts content in Bandhavgarh. We saw 12 tigers at
Bandhavgarh, which may have been a record, and just let us say that nothing
beats tracking a tiger on an elephant. We also saw a leopard (excellent
siting) in Ranthambore, which was kind of ironic, since that's the one thing
we didn't see in Africa. We are also still full of lots of other tidbits, so
if you want to hear more just let us know. Thanks again for such a great
adventure!

Dear Ashu,
Thank you so much to you and
your company for providing Richard and I with outstanding service all
throughout our India trip process. I can't believe we did it all very simply
through e-mail - I found your company on the internet, e-mailed back and
forth with you to customise our itinerary, and we never even needed to make
one phone call to come up with the perfect trip! And it did indeed turn out
to be perfect in every way. Seamless: at every point where we were to be met
at our numerous stops in India, a representative was always waiting for us
and knew where we should go, which hotel we were staying at, and what we
wished to see in the region. All guides were extremely friendly and pleasant
to be around, which added to our enjoyment of the culture and touring. The
competent service from every Indian we encountered made us not want to leave
the country! From the hotel concierges to the car drivers to the guides, all
were willing to do whatever it takes to make our stay wonderful. We can't
say enough about how happy we are. We're telling all of our friends to go to
India, and to use Luxury Holidays!
Thank you for an amazing trip.
The experience and memories are priceless.
Regards,
Rebecka

Hi Amanda,
Many apologies
for the delay in replying - lots of things to be catching up on here!
Anyway, we had a fabulous, fascinating trip and have definitely caught the
India "bug" - (in more ways than one, but more of that later!). We
were particularly impressed with the overall organisation and service
provided by Trans India and their affiliated agents - everything went very
smoothly.
You asked about Nilaya. We absolutely loved it and
wished that we had stayed longer! It's totally chilled out, right in the
middle of nowhere half way up the side of a mountain! The website and Hip
Hotel book do not really do it justice. It's incredibly informal - the staff
call you by your first name and at lunchtime you are shown the (4 course)
dinner menu for that night and asked if you would prefer something different
- It's like staying in someone's house. Claudia & Hari (the owners) are
absolutely charming and there was a bizarre mix of guests - including a
Norwegian TV crew making a cookery program with Norway's equivalent of Delia
Smith (if that means something to you?). Oh, and to cap it all, the (Indian)
house white wine was fab (unlike all of the other sherry-tasting gut-rot we
sampled at other establishments) and was a complete steal at Rs 1100
including tax! Overall, it was the perfect end to our trip, but I guess that
it wouldn't be to everyone's taste as there is not an awful lot to do apart
from sunbathe, swim, snooze and eat/drink!
We have got one final
suggestion. We went to the Sea Lounge at the Taj in Mumbai for a drink and
then (following a recommendation from Claudia at Nilaya) had dinner at
Trishna's - an absolutely fabulous seafood restaurant about a five minute
walk from the Taj, just near the fort. I can't think of anywhere else in the
world where you can get a crab the size of a dinner place for $16... (and it
was so big that two of us couldn't finish it!)
That's about all.
I would just like to reiterate that we had a great trip and thank you so
much for all the time and effort you put in to arranging our itinerary. We
are already planning the next visit....
Best wishes,
Simon &
Louise
